    I've found this too if you choose to delete an image without saving.

    To replicate:
    1. Take a picture of your document
    2. Trash it, the camera screen reappears
    3. Take another image and choose to crop
    4. Crop as normal, then save
    5. The previously trashed image will be displayed. Not the one you just cropped

    I can do this when uploading to Google Drive within Office Lens. I'm a little perplexed that Google offer a better tool for this than Microsoft within a Microsoft app uploading to a Microsoft service.
