Have an option to make scans black and white
When you scan a document to PDF it retains the doc colour, even on black and white docs you sometimes get a brown hue on the scan. I would like the option to change the scan to grey scale or black and white if i do not like the colour option. The whiteboard scan gives a great black and white scan

Even a "White board" scan will do the job, would be nice to set the black and white option for a "document scan".

I'm impressed with the scanner, but as others have commented, this is a glaring omission, the lack of an option to save as black and white for space saving (and ink saving) and very surprising that it has still not been fixed, especially when all other scanner apps provide this facility!

For the love of God!!! How is this not a feature yet?!! Transforming colour to grayscale/B&W is programming 101 stuff!! Is any one actually developing this app?

Any updates on this? I can see LOTS of people asking for it with several suggestions posted independently.

Please add a black and white option, for when I want to print the document. The background can't be gray otherwise it wastes ink to print the gray. Thanks.

Completely agree. Still used it because it is more convenient, but the grayscale scans from DocScan look better and are smaller too.
